Alphaserve Technologies has successfully completed its first Statement on Standards for Attestation Engagements (SSAE) 16 Type II audit.
New York, April 4, 2016 – The examination, performed by SSAE 16 Professionals, LLP tested Alphaserve Technologies services and corporate controls, resulting in an objective confirmation that Alphaserve’s data is securely maintained and controlled.
The audits required a rigorous and in-depth assessment of the internal controls, policies, and procedures related to all of Alphaserve’s services and facilities.
SSAE 16 Type II is an internationally recognized auditing standard developed by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA). The SSAE 16 Type II supersedes the SAS 70 audit standard, and is designated by the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) as an acceptable method for management to obtain assertions about service organization internal controls without conducting separate assessments.
““Data security is more important than ever, as announcements of data breeches seem to highlight the news more frequently. Alphaserve had the SSAE 16 Type II audit completed to provide our customers with confidence we are taking every measure to ensure their data is protected.” said Matthew Wojtkowiak, General Counsel of Alphaserve Technologies
